What this course does and does not do, in plain terms.
Using the lessons
Do I need an AI subscription?
You practise in your own AI tool: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another one you already use. A free account is enough for most of the course. We provide the lessons and the prompts, not the AI account itself.
What does copying a prompt actually do?
Nothing on its own. Copying puts it on your clipboard. Paste it into your AI tool, send it, and read the reply yourself. Nobody here sees your prompt or what comes back.
Are the lab steps or assignments graded?
No. They are for you to practise with. There is no submission, no teacher, and nothing to hand in. Ticking a step off marks it done for you, nothing more.
Your worksheets and progress
Where do my worksheet notes go?
They save in your browser as you type. If you are signed in, they are also kept in your account, so they are there on any device you sign in on. You can delete them from your account page.
What does signing in actually sync?
Which lessons you have done, the lab steps you ticked, and your worksheet answers. When two devices have different answers for the same worksheet, the one you changed most recently is kept. Signed out, all of it stays in the browser you used.
Are the prompt-builder inputs saved anywhere?
No. What you type into a prompt's input boxes stays on that page and is gone once you leave it. Copy the finished prompt first.
Downloads
What do the "Export" buttons do?
Each one downloads that worksheet as a plain text file, named for what it is (Your tasks, About you, and so on). Downloading is optional: it is a backup, not a save button. Nothing is lost if you skip it and stay on the same browser.
Privacy
Is what I paste into ChatGPT or Claude private?
That is between you and that provider; we are not involved. Use material you are allowed to share. See the privacy policy for the short list of what we collect ourselves. What you type into prompts is not on it.
Is it safe to use AI apps?
For most work, yes, if you keep account details and other people's private information out of them. The bigger risk is trusting a confident wrong answer, so check names, numbers and dates before anything goes out in your name. What should I never paste into AI?
OTPs, passwords, UPI PINs and card numbers. Aadhaar, PAN and bank account numbers. Other people's private details, and a client's confidential business. Swap names and amounts for placeholders like [CLIENT], and put the real ones back yourself afterwards.
